The meeting was held following the establishment of the national network’s statutes, and the creation of an executive bureau, composed of 5 members of the network. The meetings was chaired by the Secretary General, being the Head of Network; and were present Mr. Antoine Messara, representative of the Lebanon in the advisory council for ALF; Ms. Rima Maroun, winner of the Euro-Med award for 2008; and Mrs. Khadija Lakkis. The discussion focused on future plans for the Lebanese network in terms of enhancing its visibility at a national level, and raising awareness regarding the values and mission of the Foundation. The meeting proposed a program of four collective activities to be acted upon by the Lebanese network.
