Under the High Patronage of His Excellency The President of the Republic of Lebanon, General Michel Sleiman, the UNESO Regional Beirut Office, and the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO co-organize a seminar on a publication around “The Cultural Aspects of Christianity and Islam”, at Le Bristol Hotel- Hamra, on Wednesday February 4th, 2009, from 5:00 till 7:00 pm.

H.E. Minister of Culture, Mr. Tamam Salam, will represent the President of Lebanon. The seminar is moderated by Dr. Radwan Al-Sayyid. The discussants are Dr. Muchir Aoun, Al-Sayyid Hani Fahs, Fr. Dr. George Massouh, Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Noqari, Fr. Dr. Fadi Daou, and Judge Abbas Al-Halabi.

The UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, and the UNESCO Chair in Comparative Religious Studies – at Saint-Joseph University, have jointly published the book, which addresses the cultural aspects of Christianity and Islam, rituals, customs, traditions, worship places, and other related issues.
